If you are ready for a PinTech touring binding that has been designed for freeskiers demanding a solid, bombproof uphill and downhill performance from their backcountry gear, the Marker Kingpin 10 bindings are a very efficient option. When the Kingpin bindings hit the market a few seasons back, Marker introduced the first PinTech binding in the world that gained the DIN ISO 13992:2007 certification form Germany’s prestigious testing organization. The Kingpin bindings are known for including three sets of springs instead of the traditional two holding the toe arms on for a more robust fit when you have them in the “ski” mode function. If you are all about heading out on long tours for legit terrain, you will find the Kingpin 10 provides a very efficient, durable and comfortable experience for you to charge those epic untouched backcountry lines. Literally, the Kingpin is a game changer for backcountry skiers spending the majority of time spent off-piste chasing the fresh goods. The new Marker Kingpin 10 bindings provide an ideal performance that offers a very responsive, aggressive ease of use with a light overall weight. With 3 options of 0, 7, or 13 degrees for the climbing aid the new Kingpin 10 bindings are ready to climb! DIN range: 5.0 – 10.0. Recommended Skier Weight: 100 – 230 lbs. Stand Height w/o Ski: 21 mm. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL). The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg. A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm. Please include the mm unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size.
