K2 Apache Outlaw is a moderately fat ski that’s incredibly agile for its size, giving it the versatility to carve backcountry powder or inbounds crud. Suited especially for expert adventurers willing to hike for fresh tracks or skirt the ski boundaries in search of soft snow. Fir/aspen wood core produces a natural flex, allowing the ski to achieve full contact with the snow throughout the turn. MOD technology features an elastomeric secondary core which works as a high-performance suspension and damping system. MOD technology doesn’t affect flex, allowing the skis to bend freely while absorbing vibrations and increasing power, forgiveness and performance. MOD Monic damping technology reduces unwanted vibrations at their source, creating a perfect balance between liveliness and damping. Designed for technical and expert skiers, the metal-laminate construction uses titanium and extra glass layers for a stiff flex profile. Metal-laminate construction delivers precise, accurate performance; in addition, it’s extremely stable and damps superbly. Progressive sidecut has different curve shapes along different parts of the skimore aggressive in the tip, less aggressive in the tail. The progressive sidecut results in confident, quick turn initiation in hard snow and easy release in crud and powder. Titan Technology removes titanium in a small hole pattern from the tip and tail, creating a lighter ski with noticeably lower swing weight. This Outlaw is an outrageously quick ski given its chubby 88-mm waist. Credit the powerful glass-wrapped wood core and a generously deep sidecut. The progressive flex lets the tip float and initiate easily, while the aft section dishes out stable muscle at Super-G speeds. These used skis and bindings are in good condition. Nordica Navigator 90 172 cm Ski + Marker Griffon 13 Bindings Winter Adventure
Ex-Rental skis, from our Rental Center. Skis’ base and edges are in condition as shown in the pictures (Zoom in for details). They are fully functional, but used. In rare cases they may have chips, scratches, and other wear and tear common on used rental equipment, such as permanent markers, stickers, or other writing on them. Cosmetic and non-functional details (tips, signature badges etc) might be broken or missing. Please verify that your preferred ski shop will set up and adjust these particular skis and bindings. The Navigator uses what Nordica calls Hex Titanium Bridge. Instead of a full sheet of metal there are geometric shapes removed, leaving a bridge of metal, or metal grid, just under the topsheet of the ski. The result is the stability and smooth performance that comes along with metal, but the ski is lighter and a little softer flexing. The Navigator 90 has a tip shape inspired by the Enforcer collection with a good amount of rocker and early taper, while the tail shape is inspired by carving skis. There is no tail rocker or early taper, giving the Navigator 90 more of a preference to complete a carving turn rather than to pivot or smear your turns. We think of it as an all mountain carving ski. 127 – 90 – 112. REMEMBER: Setting your ski bindings to the correct release setting is essential for your safety.
