Fir/aspen wood core produces a natural flex, allowing the ski to achieve full contact with the snow throughout the turn. MOD technology features an elastomeric secondary core which works as a high-performance suspension and damping system. MOD technology doesn’t affect flex, allowing the skis to bend freely while absorbing vibrations and increasing power, forgiveness and performance. MOD Monic damping technology reduces unwanted vibrations at their source, creating a perfect balance between liveliness and damping. Designed for technical and expert skiers, the metal-laminate construction uses titanium and extra glass layers for a stiff flex profile. Metal-laminate construction delivers precise, accurate performance; in addition, it’s extremely stable and damps superbly. Progressive sidecut has different curve shapes along different parts of the skimore aggressive in the tip, less aggressive in the tail. The progressive sidecut results in confident, quick turn initiation in hard snow and easy release in crud and powder. Titan Technology removes titanium in a small hole pattern from the tip and tail, creating a lighter ski with noticeably lower swing weight. This Outlaw is an outrageously quick ski given its chubby 88-mm waist. Credit the powerful glass-wrapped wood core and a generously deep sidecut.
