This binding is perfect for fully motivated freeriders or budding freestylers who want a very light and sturdy binding that is equipped with state-of-the-art components. A lightweight Triple Pivot Light toe piece features a distinctly Anti-Ice Off Rail to keep your boot sole free from ice and snow. This comes in particular handy on a powder day or when the snow gets wet and sticky. The Squire is equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device) for a precise release every time and is entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice. Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application enhance optimized functionality. A state-of-the art Hollow Linkage Heel with its wider boot holder reduces the step-in force by approximately 35%, even with GripWalk soles. All in all, the Marker Squire 11 is very compact and despite its GripWalk compatibility, only 24mm high, which allows for a very direct feel and maximizes ski control. If this is for a NORDIC ski, we just need your EU boot size in order to mount. Read below for more information on BSL. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL). The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg. A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm. Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size.
