These skis are in very, very good condition. One ski has a top sheet chip midway towards the tip and some top sheet chipping near the tail (see pics). Bases in excellent condition. On less than 10 days. Chip on tail is from ski rack/air travel. They have not been skied hard at all. The rise in the tip and tail starts earlier for effortless float and easier turn initiation. 3 / 5 / 2 mm (Early Rise / Camber / Early Rise). The softer tip floats and initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides power, stability and high speed control. 5 different sized sidecut radius shapes are blended into one, for intuitive control and unlimited turn shapes. 20% longer sidecut edge length in contact with the snow than other skis in its class for more grip & less slip! The widest point of sidecut starts tapering earlier in the tip and tail to reduce tail drag and hooking in powder. Super thin core and sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight and tip bounce. 2 full length Maple stringers surrounded by Aspen for the best of both worlds. Die cut titanal, or composite laminate provides more power & grip where you need it under foot & at the tips, while reducing weight where you dont. Incorporates a full height and length 80 durometer Elastomer sidewall over the edges to absorb vibration and shock for a smooth solid ride. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Powder Magazine Skier’s Choice. Like the prophet 90, only better!!! This ski only improves on what the prophet 90 could do. Great all mountain ski! This ski is at home anywhere on the mountain. Yes, I would recommend to a friend. Great ski and best value in this category, imo. 170 a bit too short for me in mank, though. Amazing all mountain ski. Great pair of skis. They were extremely stable on the front side, and had amazing grip in groomed/icy snow. They also look great as a bonus! Really appreciate theses skis. Held it’s own on some classic Vermont hardpack as well as some nice ice patches. Felt fairly stable at high speeds. Real responsive tails in the bumps. There was nothing close to powder to speak of, so I can’t comment on that. Based on their shape and overall feel, I think you’d be fine in just about any conditions on this ski. Heading to Utah in 2 weeks and looking forward to getting these guys out for both a powder day and in some steep chutes. I’ve been demoing skis for the past few years due to a lack of skiing (couldn’t justify the price when tech changes so fast). Bit the bullet and bought these due to the great price on Evo. By far the best ski I’ve ever skied. The only concern i have on the skis at all is that the tips got a little dinged up pretty quickly. Great ski handles amazing in the powder.
