Black Pearl 88 now features Blizzard’s FluxForm Ti construction; additional strategically placed Titanal improves edge hold and provides more stability at speed. The True Blend wood core. Places denser, firmer wood in the center of the ski, with softer easier flexing laminations at the ends. This produces a ski that is springier, and more playful, without sacrificing stability and the Black Pearls legendary smooth feel on the snow. This combination of stability and playfulness is unique in the ski world. It is a big risk to make major changes to a ski that is as loved as Black Pearl, but Blizzard took the risk and it paid off huge! The ski is exactly the same as the regular Black Pearl, but comes with very nice Marker TCX 11 bindings factory installed. TCX 11 is a great high performance binding that uses a metal reinforced soft step heel piece that is very easy to step into and low profile toe piece.
