The ultra-light Alpinist 8 pin binding (245 g without ski stopper) is optimized for lighter ski mountaineers, especially women. The unique softer spring in the heel cup allows for easy insertion of the binding and reduces the din values?? to 4-9. Other than that, the Alpinist 9 is identical to the 8,10 and 12 models. It also offers active length compensation when flexing the ski and noticeable power transfer on the descent thanks to the 38mm wide hole pattern. The carbon-reinforced toe cap provides excellent rigidity and is equipped with anti-icing pads and elastomer inserts for an easy fit. The heel unit is equipped with a heel lift for climbing with a 0°, 5° and 9° adjustment and allows you to switch very comfortably from walking to skiing mode.
