Elan’s tubelite wood core and Amphibio rocker technology are the backbones behind the genius of the Ripstick 96. They have taken 5 mm thick carbon tubes and inlaid them in the wood core running alongside the sidewalls. They stiffen the skis without adding a lot of weight, and also increase edge grip and rebound to a great degree. The Amphibio rocker makes a left and a right ski cool again. They’ve rockered the outside edges of the tips to make for a silky smooth ride through powder and soft snow. As a result, the turn initiation and completion is effortless and fun. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg. A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm.
