These GS Race skis from 2017 still meet all current FIS requirements even though they use the larger turn radius of 35 m. You never know when you’re going to stumble upon a course with wide open turns and when you do you’ll be happy you have a pair of these longer radius skis in your quiver. The 195 cm length meets the current FIS regulation of a 193 cm minimum as well. Not only do these meet FIS GS standards, they are also a great choice for younger skiers getting into speed events like Super G and DH. The 35 m turn radius in this 195 cm length does not meet FIS speed event requirements, but it’s a great stepping stone from shorter radius GS skis to the big SG and DH boards. These long radius GS skis have actually become very popular for that use! You don’t necessarily have to be a ski racer to enjoy these skis, however. If you’re an advanced to expert level skier that loves the feeling of arcing big fast turns on groomers you’ll love the power and stability of these skis.
