Marker Kingpin Ski Bindings. The legendary Kingpin combines the lightweight ISI pin toe piece with an alpine heel piece including 0°/7°/13° climbing aid. This makes it very easy to walk on any terrain and ensures great descents with outstanding performance and top-level release functionality. The binding is therefore perfect for ambitious backcountry and freeride touring enthusiasts. A very stiff, carbon-reinforced front with an ISI toe piece makes the binding easier to step into, as a wide footprint with integrated stop automatically positions and aligns your boot. Kinematically optimized pin levers then allow the pins to snap shut with just a gentle push. The wide hole pattern and XXL power transmitters deliver the ultimate in direct power transmission for the utmost control and fun on the descent. Anti Ice Pads in the base of toe and heel (if no brake is installed) to prevent icing in critical areas. Power transmitter in the heel with ball bearing for minimum friction and maximum centering for the lateral movement of the heel. This binding is perfect for fully motivated freeriders or budding freestylers who want a very light and sturdy binding that is equipped with state-of-the-art components. A lightweight Triple Pivot Light toe piece features a distinctly Anti-Ice Off Rail to keep your boot sole free from ice and snow. This comes in particular handy on a powder day or when the snow gets wet and sticky. The Squire is equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device) for a precise release every time and is entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice. Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application enhance optimized functionality. A state-of-the art Hollow Linkage Heel with its wider boot holder reduces the step-in force by approximately 35%, even with GripWalk soles.
