(Although you will also need to invest in skins) With a redesigned Triple Pivot Light 2 toe, you get less weight, easy step in and step out capabilities, and great releasability when you it need it most. It even has an anti-ice rail to help shed ice and snow build up in the toe too which are very common occurrences when ski touring. A new Hollow Linkage 2 Heel offers improved step in and added security. This is a great entry-level touring binding with solid all-mountain performance for the skier who is either new to skinning or does not want to take a leap into tech boots. Read below for more information on BSL. Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL). The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg. A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm. Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size.
