The Chiara is similar to the Allura and Charisma, but it splits the difference in width (77 mm). To better suit the aggressive intermediate, its core is a more forgiving combination of foam reinforced by a tip-to-tail wood strip, rather than all wood, and a less powerful version of Volkl’s XTD construction is designed to make it less edgy.
