The Marker F12 Tour EPF is an awesome touring binding that relies on Marker’s Extended Power Frame design to deliver exceptional performance on the descents, while remaining impressively lightweight making those ascents a little easier. Frame touring bindings are popular among skiers who want touring capabilities, but don’t want to move into a tech-fit ultra-light setup. By using an alpine toe and heel piece on top of their Extended Power Frame system the binding retains the power and connection to the snow that skiers demand. The toe and heel piece are borrowed from the Squire, which has become a favorite alpine binding among lighter weight skiers. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size eg. A mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm. Please include the mm unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size.
