A pair of excellent condition used demo 22/23 model Volkl Blaze 106 all mtn skis w/ new Marker Griffon TCX GW demo bindings. The flagship Blaze 106 has an ample 106mm waist with Völkl’s 3D Radius sidecut technology – a unique setup with longer radii at the tip and tail and a tighter shape in the midbody, allowing the skier to switch from long arcs to short turns at will. A hybrid wood core has been engineered for lighter weight, giving the ski great maneuverability and quickness while maintaining Völkl’s signature edge grip. In the Suspension Tip design, the wood core follows the shape of the tip allowing a smooth, catch free ride quality despite the Blaze’s light weight. Under the binding, a titanal power plate provides some extra grip and solid binding screw retention. Whether dropping in from the first chair or after a quick skin, skiers who don’t like to follow the tracks will have a new best friend with the Blaze. Tip & tail rocker.

This race-inspired ski is at home on those early morning groomers, holding a solid edge on-piste in short radius turns. In long skids, this ski is immensely stable and predictable, in short turns (carved or skidded) energetic and dynamic. It’s not a heavy GS ski, so long cut turns are the only thing this ski can’t do. When ordering snowboard boots, we recommend you order your normal size or a half size larger if you normally wear a half sized shoe.
