The Carbon Web Technology uses a woven structure or carbon in the mid body of the ski that improves the edge hold and stability without adding any extra weight to the ski. The Fir wood core is very damp, and to increase the horsepower of the Bolt a Metal Laminate is added to make this ski as fast as a bolt of lightning. K2’s Hybritech Sidewalls only add to the torsional strength of the ski, and deliver an edge hold that is only stronger on the World Cup Circuit. The Bolt is made with K2’s Speed Rocker that has a small rockered portion in the tip for faster turn initiation, and a high amount of camber on the rest of the ski for powerful rebound to rocket you into your next turn. If you like a powerful ski that will blast GS or larger turn shapes on the groomer that is unshakeable at high speeds, the K2 Bolt is a piece of lightning that you can harness.
